I read plenty of good reviews about this product, so when I saw it on folica.com and it was on a BOGO 1/2 promotion, I picked some up. Argan Oil is amongst the newest popular oils that claim to make your hair super soft, shiny and stronger. As per folica, this product is defined as “One ‘n Only Argan Oil Restorative Mask is an intense treatment that helps to reconstruct, rebuild and strengthen the hair while restoring its elasticity.” To be honest, I thought it was just okay. It has a bit of a waxy texture, it was difficult for me to tell whether it was really doing anything for my hair because all I could really feel was the product on my hands. It definitely coated my hair, so it lives up to the name of being a mask. I was a little concerned that cetyl alcohol was listed second, and maybe thats why I didn’t feel like my hair was all juicy or soft after…
I love the smell of it, very fresh and clean smelling. And its very easy to handle in the shower as it comes in a squeeze tube. I didn’t really feel that much of a difference after washing it out. But I think I will stick with it until I finish both tubes and maybe change up the way I use it a bit……… maybe put a plastic shower cap over it and sit under the dryer for a little while before rinsing it out and see if it makes a difference. I’ll come back and do an update on it after the tubes are done.
